Spread amidst casuarinas and coconut trees on either side of the main house on the island’s north-west point, Denis Private Island’s guest accommodation boasts 23 elegant cottages, each with its own private beachfront with sun loungers and chairs. Decorated in a natural theme they feature a sitting area, IPOD docking station, IDD telephone, tea/coffee-making facilities, mini fridge, iron/ironing board, a safe, air conditioning, ceiling fan and dressing table. The open-air bathrooms feature ceiling fan, shower, bath, W.C, bidet, double vanity, hair dryer, amenity kit, and leads into a private courtyard with al fresco shower.

The hotel’s restaurant offers a variety of local Creole dishes and international cuisine – serving a buffet breakfast, buffet lunch and table d’hote dinners (with a themed Creole buffet evening and a themed Japanese buffet evening weekly. A range of drinks, including Denis Private Island signature cocktails are available at the sunken bar.
Stunning soft white sandy beaches surround this castaway island. The sea is teeming with marine life, and guests can snorkel off the beach, often seeing turtles. Denis Island has all the essential ingredients for languid island-style living but it also boasts some of the world’s best fishing and diving for those looking for adventure as well as barefoot luxury.
The Dive centre offers Big game fishing and bottom fishing (payable). Kayaks and snorkelling equipment are also available here (free of charge).
A range of massage and wellness treatments are offered, either in the privacy of your room, or wherever the guest prefers, be it in the courtyard of the Beachfront Spa Cottages or even out on the guest’s private beachfront.
