• Beaches

  There are three secluded beaches on the Resort’s private island. The two bays of white sand on the northern face of the island flank the main swimming pools, with views across the Indian Ocean to Ile aux Cerfs. The white sand cove to the south of the private island, the Quiet Beach, faces the lush mangroves and offers a peaceful retreat, away from the main facilities. Additionally, a complimentary boat shuttle runs throughout the day to the extensive white sand stretches of the public beaches on Ile aux Cerfs, for guests looking to explore the famous island’s shell and starfish-lined shores.

• Swimming Pools

  The Resort has four swimming pools. The infinity-edge pool is located adjacent to Bambou restaurant. It is lined with majestic Royal Palms and features sweeping views across the lagoon, ocean and nearby islands. The free-form California-edge pool overflows into the infinity-edge pool. The pool's design offers a gradual descent into the water that allows bathers to relax in the shallow water whilst soaking up the sun and the view across the infinity-edge pool and lagoon beyond. Large basalt rocks from the lagoon edge the pool, which is surrounded by a sandstone deck and lit by twinkling fibre optic lights at night. There is also a 25 m lap pool, located in the Fitness Centre and a children’s pool within the Kids’ Club.

• Spa

  Set against the Indian Ocean, discover the natural tranquillity of our award-winning Spa. Carefully blending the African roots of Mauritius with the learned traditions of Asia, our Spa fuses rich cultural elements with modern-day techniques, to ensure a holistic wellbeing experience of the physical, emotional and spiritual bodies. A professional salon, group and private wellness classes and a spa cuisine menu are also available to offer harmonious additions to a rejuvenating spa experience. With eight couple’s suites and four individual suites available, your Spa experience provides a total retreat from the outside world. In our couple’s suites, you may enjoy private access to your own steam room, indoor shower, ensuite changing area and outdoor shower, while each treatment room offers views out to the turquoise lagoon and lush mangroves.

• Golf

  Designed by Ernie Els, the course at Four Seasons Golf Club Mauritius at Anahita is a 6,828 m (7580 yard), 18-hole, par-72 championship course, with five tee boxes, large fairways and six oceanfront holes. Spectacular scenery is the backdrop to every hole as the course weaves through rocky outcrops and the trees of the tropical landscape. The practice facilities include a 320 metre (350 yard) grass practice range with putting and chipping greens and a dedicated Four Seasons Golf Academy, which covers all physical and mental aspects of the game with a studio providing the ultimate in video and computerised swing analysis. Unlimited, complimentary golf is offered to all guests of Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita, which includes use of a GPS equipped golf buggy and a pyramid of golf balls for use on the driving range.

• The Hobbit Village Kids’ Club

  A colourful haven of fun and adventure for children aged 4-9, the Lord of the Rings inspired 'Hobbit Village' allows children's imaginations to run wild, and features a puppet theatre, sand pit, swimming pool and a dedicated kids' kitchen, where little ones can learn to make their own pizza with help from the Resort’s chefs. The complimentary Kids for All Seasons Programme takes its inspiration from the Resort’s tropical environment, expansive grounds and traditional Mauritian elements; fun and educational experiences include line-fishing, crab-hunting, mini-tennis and golf, local crafts, tropical treasure hunts and meeting the Resort’s giant Aldabra tortoises.

• For children aged 10 and above

  The Young Adults Centre: Karokan - Karokan offers a relaxing hangout away from the rest of the family. In addition to computers, X-box, Wii, pool table, table tennis and table football, the Centre has its own DJ balcony, where younger guests can learn to mix music and even be a resident DJ for one of the Karokan discos.

• Water sports

  The Boat House on Bambou Beach offers a wide range of equipment and activities that can be enjoyed in the Resort’s turquoise lagoon. Most non-motorised watersports are offered complimentary for guests of the Resort, which includes kayaking, windsurfing, Hobie Cats, paddle boating, paddle boarding, snorkelling and sailing. The Boat House also offers a twice daily complimentary snorkelling trip and a twice daily complimentary excursion via glass bottom boat. Other water activities that can be arranged through the Boat House are speed boat cruises, small game fishing and kite surfing.

• Tennis

  There are two floodlit synthetic grass tennis courts at the Resort, located just a short distance from the Fitness Centre. Equipment is available to borrow and lessons can be arranged with a tennis professional, which includes a complete range of instructional programmes, ranging from private and semi-private lessons, weekly clinics and vigorous drill sessions.

• Fitness Centre

  The Resort's Fitness Centre is open from 6.30am to 8.30pm and is set within beautiful tropical gardens on the mainland. It contains state-of-the-art Technogym equipment. An aerobics studio is home to daily fitness classes, which vary from circuit training to muscle toning and stretching. Jogging tours along the 11km jogging track are also offered several mornings a week, as well as wateraerobics sessions. Both the male and female changing rooms feature a steam room for relaxation after work-outs or for complimentary use by any of the Resort’s guests.
