Praslin

Praslin is the second largest of the Seychelles islands and the most popular for visitors, with the most exquisite white sandy beaches in the World, a dream wedding location. Praslin has got to be true paradise on Earth, no images on this website are enhanced, the waters are truly the bluest of blue. A small selection of hotels are available, or we can select a guesthouse to suit your taste, any of which will help make your Seychelles holiday perfect. Do not miss a visit to the northern beach of Anse Lazio or a guided short-tour of the UNESCO Coco de Mer palm forest. This island is much quieter than Mahé with an obvious slower pace to daily life. International flights arrive on Mahé and transfers across to Praslin are either by ferry (45 mins) or flight (15 mins).

It’s very easy to drive around Praslin and you can tour the entire sleepy island in just a day. Our favourite is the ‘tale of three islands’ where you visit the uninhabited island sanctuaries of Cousin, Curieuse and St. Pierre.

We do recommend staying on half board on Praslin as there are very few restaurants open for dinner. For avid and learner divers, Praslin is excellent for scuba diving as it is surrounded by some of the most popular dive sites and is a superb place to enjoy plunging into the warm waters with baby sharks, turtles and families of whale sharks during the months of June-August.
